The hardest thing is saying goodbye to the one you love.
After being diagnosed with terminal cancer, Roger was told he had only months to live. His partner, Tristan, struggles to talk about the illness, and Roger finds it just as hard to open up to him. As a prison counsellor, Roger is used to helping others face difficult truths, but this is his toughest challenge yet.
With the help of ex-convicts who have become his friends, Roger stages imagined conversations in the places he and Tristan often visit. His friends step in to play Tristan, helping him search for the right words, the right moment, and the courage to be honest.
As Roger confronts his own mortality, he begins to understand that even in the face of death, there is still space for connection, for lightness, and for love in its purest form.
